China Glaze Poolside Collection

YELLOW POLKA DOT BIKINI
Very bright neon yellow. A bit hard to work with, I had to do four coats. I think white polish under would solve the problem. Still nothing one can´t handle and the result is worth it. It really shines!

SUN WORSHIPER
A beautiful neon orange. This will make a great pedi color. It was also a bit harder to work with. But I expected that and again used four coats.

FLIP FLOP FANTASY
I love the name of this bright coral neon. It is a lot on the pink side and I just love that. This applied very nice, three coats.

 POOL PARTY
This stuff is radioactive! I think it is the brightest of the whole collection. A hot pink neon. I will be wearing Pool Party a lot in the summer, I am sure of that. Great application, had no problems. Three coats.

TOWEL BOY TOY
Another great name for a polish. This is the only one with shimmer and I wouldn´t call it a neon, although it dries matte. It a beautiful blue with shimmer. I added a picture in the sun, so that you can see it. My favourite of the collection. Three coats.

KIWI COOL-ADA
Neon green, very bright. This applied very nice, although four coats were needed. I don´t have anything like this and again it will be a great pedi color.

Overall I really like this collection. Some of them were harder to apply, but if you follow the application tips, you are ok :) In this collection, you get all you need for summer. Fun, bright neon colors, that will make you always stand out! Can´t wait to walk on the beach with these beauties!
P.S. too bad there is not a purple neon, but I want a purple polish in every collection, so don´t listen to me :P

Eyeko Punk

Eyeko has two new limited edition polishes and I got the chance to try them out! Although I am a big fan of dark and vampy colors for fall there is nothing better that a bright pink to cheer up those cold and rainy days. And Eyeko Punk is not just bright, it is super bright!

Eyeko Punk is nearly a neon. It doesn´t dry matte but satiny. Still if you want it to shine, just add a top coat. The polish is super creamy and very well pigmented. I think you could do just one thicker coat, I did two. Honestly I think this polish is my new favourite bright pink (I think it will replace Essie Pink Parka, will do a comparison soon). I LOVE it!

The second new polish is Chi Chi. It is a warm pink glitter. I think this one will work best as a top coat, so I tried it on top of Punk polish :) It looks very pretty, don´t you think?

Both polishes are already available on the Eyeko site for £3.50 each. I really recommend you get the Punk Polish. I like it so much :)

OPI Burlesque Collection Holiday

I am a bit late with swatches of the OPI latest collection but I still think these are worth looking at again and again :) The Burlesque collection consists of twelve polishes...six shimmers and six glitters. I wanted the collection so bad since I first saw the promo pictures. From that time many months have passed and I saw a lot of swatches on other blogs. Some wrote the collection is overhyped. You want to know what I think? Well read on :)

The swatches are all without a base or top coat and are in natural daylight (no sun or lightbox).

TEASEY DOES IT!
Amazing dark brown purple. I love colors like this. Just look at the close up. This is what makes the polish look really pretty. This was two coats.

LET ME ENTERTAIN YOU!
One of my favourites. I love reds with pink sparkle. It glows so much and it is really sexy. Can´t wait to wear it as a full mani. You can do either two thick coats or three normal for full coverage.

ALI’S BIG BREAK
This is a classic Christmas red. I am sorry about the vnl, it wasn´t visible until I saw the pictures in the computer. This was two coats, next time I will do three, just to make sure :)

TAKE THE STAGE
I will be repeating myself but this glows like crazy. It is a nice warm orange. I don´t normally wear orange or colors like this but I can´t wait to try this one because I really like the way it goes with my skin. Two coats.

THE SHOW MUST GO ON
This is just so perfect. Another favourite. I have no words, just have a look at the pictures :) Two coats

RISING STAR
Goldem shimmer. Not the champagne kind of gold but reall rich gold. Great color for Christmas! Full coverage in two thicker coats.

BRING ON THE BLING
The first of the gilletrs. Like the others this has multi color glitter and looks amazing! It was also very easy to apply. Two coats.

GLOW UP ALREADY!
This is maybe my least favourite polish from the collection. I just don´t like light green on me. Two coats.

SPARKLE-ISCIOUS
On the other hand this might be my favourite glitter. I love the combination of colors used. Pink, blue, gold...they work great together! This is the only glitter polish that needed three coats.

SIMMER AND SHIMMER
Icy blue glitter, great for winter :) This also needed only two coats.

SLOW IT AN GLOW IT
Light purple, silver and other colors mixed together. Here is another favourite of mine. How many are there already? :) Two coats.

EXTRA-VA-VAGANZA
The last glitter is mostly orange. But look at the close up how many different colors are there. Amazing. Two coats.

So this is it. All twelve of them :) As for the shimmers, I know I will be wearing each and every one of them. There might be some shades that are not so unigue but there is always that brush factor which makes the OPI polishes winners for me. I also like the fact that most of the polishes are only two coaters. As for the glitters, I must apologize for my pictures but I tried my best. You just have to see these under artificial light to see the full beauty of these. They will be just the perfect thing for christmas parties. Tomorrow I am going to celebrate my birthday and I will for sure wear one of the glitters, just have to decide which one :)
I will also be posting a video, hope it will be helpful :)

I am sure a lot of you have these at home. So tell me, which are your favourites?

Acrylic Red

Thumb

- Nubar Ruby, index finger - OPI Crimson Carol, middle finger - OPI Smitten With Mittens, ring finger - China Glaze Stroll, pinky - Orly Glam. I have 2 coats of all the colors with Essie Good To Go! top coat. About Ruby, Crimson and Smitten I already wrote in Glittery Reds - Part 1, here. Stroll is a purple toned red with tiny purple and pink glitters and larger gold glitters/glass flecks. It´s the most sheer color from all of them in one coat (then Orly and Nubar; the other are pretty opaque). Orly Glam is not so purple as Stroll, but it´s a purple-brown toned red with tiny siver glitters (they are the smallest from all five polishes and almost invisible). I think Orly is the least interesting color from all five and has the most rough surface from them all (then Nubar; the other dry pretty smooth). All the colors are very close to the reality on the second picture except for Smitten which is darker in real life.
