Boog Tattoos

Many call him the King of Script, but legendary street artist Boog is so much more than that. Seldom are the truism’s of influence so vividly and honestly put to skin. Art drawn from ‘Pain poverty and neglect’ Boog’s twenty two years of tattooing have taken him on a journey from the streets to inking some of the stars of today.
His clientele include The Prodigy (his favourite band) but talking with him you get a real and honest sense that his ‘street’ roots have never been compromised, he talks of the tribulations of street life, naming the one thing that was always a constant for Boog, tattooing, and this is something he is committed to not forgetting “I would never turn my back on it, as it never turned its back on me”.
  Boog Tattoos
Boog’s styling’s conjure a myriad of Mexican iconography, religious themes, demented clowns swayed in sublimely shaded smoke and the script and meaningful caricature of urban street life; He delivers both this interview and his artwork with the effortless, natural demeanour that only accompanies those ‘born to do it’
Nowadays, it’s hard to get an appointment with Boog; As the man himself states “There is a criteria, and the criteria has to be met”. He will only work with people that absolutely want to be tattooed by him, and also preferring clean skin “I won’t fix other people mistakes”. So only the serious clientele that want a stunningly renedered piece of tattoo art should apply.
